A Look Back on 28

 I'm 2 months into 29 and it's already been a wild ride.  But before I get any further into 29, I can't forget about all that God did in my life during year 28.  I sat and reflected on my 28th year right before turning 29 and never hit publish.  I'm not sure why.  But I'll hit it now and hope maybe it will hit home with at least someone, some day.  A look back on my 28th year....

LIVE FURTHERMORE - Behind The Project

I was given the great privilege of having my work featured at a local boutique called Share and Do Good in Downtown Fullerton for their monthly art walk.  The only parameters around the project were to keep the theme "Share Their Stories" in mind.  I wasn't sure exactly who the "their" part of that was as I thought about it all year.  I knew that God would show me exactly who that was in His perfect timing.

How I Managed My First Year of Photography

Even though we’re into the second week of December, I want to ride on the November wave of thankfulness a bit longer.  Looking back on this year, I am beyond thankful for all the people who came alongside me offering their help, wisdom, and encouragement.  They are the reason I am where I am today.  I consider myself still in the infancy stage of building this God sized dream, but with a year of experience under my belt I can say dreams are not meant to be chased alone, strength lies in numbers.  

Takeaway #1:  Find a mentor who can give you the rundown on all the practical things you’ll need to know as a freelance photographer.
