Beach City Engagement Session | Long Beach, CA

I’ve known Makenna for close to 6 years now. We met interning for a super rad company based out of Costa Mesa, CA, 31 Bits. For their engagement session, I met Zach and Makenna at their cutesy Long Beach apt. located in the heart of downtown Long Beach. And you know we just had to get some photos of their digs + their cutie cat, Perry. Talk about prime apartment spot — just a step outside your door and you have a dozen tasty food options, coffee shops, boutiques and vintage stores. Dream!

We drove down just a few minutes down the road to the Colorado Lagoon, dodging runners and bike riders all in the name of a good photo. Fun fact: in the summertime, the lagoon draws a crowd and many choose to go for a swim. I suppose you could swim now too, but it was a brisk 50 degrees out so that’d have to be your call.
Anyway, such a fun day roaming around my old stompin’ grounds (CSULB alumni here!) and super thankful the rain decided to let up and that the sun decided to shine down on us!
